About the Role
As a Supplier Quality Field Representative Staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring that supplier products and processes meet internal quality standards and program requirements. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive supplier performance and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Partner with internal teams and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications. Implement and verify supplier contract requirements. Conduct source inspections (in-process and final), first article inspections, and special process audits. Perform manufacturing process validations and ongoing surveillance at supplier sites. Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for supplier-related issues. Monitor supplier quality control systems and maintain effective feedback loops. Manage nonconforming supplier items and assess the effectiveness of corrective actions. Travel as needed to support suppliers across the United States. Minimum Qualifications
6 years of experience in electronics and electrical testing. 6 years of experience in supplier quality, supplier management, and supply chain. 6 years of experience in quality assurance/control and quality management systems (QMS). Proven ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in team environments. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments. Background in electronics manufacturing and testing. Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline. Familiarity with complex machined parts, electrical and electronic assemblies. Working knowledge of SAP and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems. ASQ certifications such as CQE, CQA, or CQIA. Experience with source inspections, special process surveys, and supplier surveillance. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
