We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to support daily accounting operations within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy, appropriate approvals, and proper coding to general ledger accounts.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and wire payments.
Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files for all accounts payable transactions.
Assist with month‑end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing or payment inquiries.
Support audits by providing documentation and account details as requested.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience required; manufacturing industry experience a plus.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting systems or ERP software.
