Senior Accountant — Deerfield Beach
Dealer Services Network is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our flourishing finance team in a dynamic, multi-entity, multi-state organization. The role is ideal for a proactive accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving accuracy, compliance, and process improvement across complex financial operations.
Base Pay Range $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year. This range is a guideline; actual compensation will be based on your skills and experience. Discuss specifics with your recruiter.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Manage accounting for cash, prepaid expenses, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and U.S. GAAP.
Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and enhance internal controls, and support internal and external audit processes.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with payroll, operations, and FP&A to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows and increase efficiency.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Support ERP system enhancements and automation initiatives.
Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA track strongly preferred).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multi‑entity or multi‑state corporate environment.
Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.
Proficiency with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros advantageous).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Experience in process improvement, automation, or system implementation is a plus.
