Alternative Family Living / AFL Provider
Location Rocky Mount, Wilson, Goldsboro, North Carolina.
About the Role Open your home to provide an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities a unique opportunity to live with a family unit. AFL living enables a person to live in a private home with a family and receive 24‑hour supports and habilitation.
Responsibilities
Provide 24‑hour support and habilitation to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges.
Create a stable and caring home environment where the individual can live, grow and integrate into the community.
Assist in developing and achieving daily living skill/independence goals.
Coordinate or facilitate attendance at day programs or other services as needed.
Qualifications
Preferred experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Direct Support Professional (DSP).
Ability to work independently as a contractor.
