Seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Tax Manager to work directly with firm partners for the review of complex individual, partnership, and S-corporation tax returns. Additionally, you will be responsible for research, federal, state and local tax audit representation, and planning and client contact questions.
Pay Range $180,000.00/yr - $240,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Conduct tax research and provide strategic tax planning and technical guidance
Maintain and build trusted client relationships through responsive and professional communication
Oversee multiple client engagements and ensure high-quality service delivery
Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and senior associates
Review client communications and deliverables for accuracy and clarity
Ensure tax compliance for all entity types, including large, complex returns
Contribute to the development and implementation of firm best practices and technical standards
Develop subject matter expertise in designated industry groups and contribute thought leadership
Present on tax topics internally and externally, as needed
Ensure efficient delegation and workflow management of client projects
Utilize and gain proficiency in firm tax software, including CCH ProSystem fx Tax
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of tax experience in public accounting, required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, required; master’s degree preferred
CPA license required or actively pursuing
Proficiency with
CCH ProSystem fx Tax required
Deep understanding of tax compliance, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
