Purpose of Assignment

Increase the capacity of the Audience and Market Insights unit, enhancing the actionability of research and insights for mass and general population audiences.

Support research related to four key areas: Global Insights Planning, Brand Barometer actionability, Individual Giving Insights Strategy, and additional projects.

Scope of Work

Work with vendors to ensure research quality and standards.

Support the Audience and Market Insights Team in working sessions, data analysis and presentation creation.

Apply deep understanding of insight application to drive meaningful action in a global organization.

Coach interns and junior staff to support analyses and tasks.

Deliverables

Deliverable 1 – Global Insights Planning:

Create insights ecosystem across pilot markets, organize kickoff meetings, listening tours, and draft insights plans.

Deliverable 2 – Brand Barometer:

Research execution, insights identification, and facilitation of insights‑to‑action working sessions.

Deliverable 3 – Individual Giving Insights Strategy:

Lead listening tour, develop insights plan, manage selected projects.

Travel One trip during assignment for planning and strategy sessions (paid by UNICEF).

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in cultural studies, communications, psychology, marketing, political studies, development studies, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years in audience research, insights, and strategy focusing on reputation and perception research.

Strong data analysis skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Deep understanding of applying insights to drive action in a multifaceted global organization.

Proven experience navigating multi‑stakeholder environments and achieving alignment.

Strong command of quantitative, qualitative, and secondary research methodologies.

Language Fluency in English required; knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
