Team Member – Part Time (Regal Cinemas)

Base Pay Range $16.50/hr – $16.50/hr
Responsibilities The primary responsibility of Team Members is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Team Members may be scheduled in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Employees must act as a representative of Regal consistently with the company mission statement.
Box Office
Operate POS system, manage cash drawer, handle credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeem discount tickets, passes, and coupons.
Upsell/suggestive sell Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
Respond to guest phone calls and questions in a manner consistent with guest service philosophy.
Concession
Operate POS system, accurately handle cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, coupons and maintain concession stock inventory.
Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
Operate, prepare and clean all concession equipment.
Upsell/suggestive sell.
Comply with all local, state and federal food safety laws.
Observe breaks and meal period regulations.
Maintain alcohol certification and training if selling alcohol, when applicable.
Read and understand training materials on sexual harassment and discrimination.
Usher
Collect and deposit ticket stubs, direct patrons to auditoriums.
Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
Enforce MPAA rating system.
Conduct on‑the‑nitro inspections of picture and sound quality; monitor for film/content theft.
Report problems or unusual situations to management.
Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
Clean auditoriums and maintain cleanliness of restrooms, lobby, hallways, and vending equipment.
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Completion of the cast certification program as a cast member or box office cashier, or progress toward requirement.
Possess good public speaking, listening, and clear communication skills.
Perform calculations accurately; quick math ability.
Demonstrate reasoning skills: gather data, evaluate alternatives, reach conclusions under pressure.
Excellent communication skills with customers, coworkers, and management; set goals and priorities.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, lift up to 60 lbs; adapt vision; tolerate typical physical demands.
