Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Module Design Release Engineer (DRE) to lead the design, development, and validation of complex electronic components, with a focus on wireless charging systems. This role requires independent decision‑making, strong cross‑functional communication, and technical leadership from concept through production.
The ideal candidate brings experience with semiconductors and electronic modules, thrives in ambiguous environments, and works well both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical project management and design release for wireless charging systems
Define system/component requirements and create interface control documentation (ICD)
Manage supplier relationships, timelines, and product development team (PDT) meetings
Investigate technical issues and lead resolution efforts
Develop and maintain technical specifications, best practices, and engineering documentation
Support sourcing activities and manage part delivery for testing, retrofits, and production
Perform design analysis and initiate engineering change documentation
Support validation, integration, and testing of modules in lab and vehicle environments
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers
Contribute to cost reduction, product improvement, and quality initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science
Minimum 2 years of engineering experience related to electronics
Experience with microcontroller architecture, memory technologies, and module design
Strong understanding of serial data communication, hardware design, and testing
Ability to translate requirements into functional software/hardware solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DFMEA and change management processes
Familiarity with safety‑critical system design
Knowledge of wiring harness design and vehicle communication tools
Background in software algorithm development and validation

Additional Information Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Duration: Multi‑year project with strong extension potential
Start Date: ASAP (Urgent need)
Training: Proprietary tools will be taught; candidates must be Microsoft Office proficient
Travel: Minimal expected
