Across the U.S., more than 500,000 independent stores — gas stations, convenience stores, bodegas, and local markets — each generate $1–3M in annual sales but still operate without modern tools or data.

RepRally is building the next-generation distribution network that connects brands, retailers, and sales reps through data and smart matching logic, making wholesale faster, smarter, and more efficient.

We’re applying 0→1 marketplace and Uber‑style growth playbooks to modernize how products move across America. We’ve already scaled to thousands of stores, 500+ brands, and hundreds of reps nationwide. Backed by Greylock and built by marketplace operators from top startups.

The Role

RepRally is seeking a Strategic Finance Lead to own and manage the company‑wide P&L, ensuring full visibility and accountability across revenue, cost, and margin performance. This is a deeply analytical and strategic role — sitting at the intersection of data, finance, and growth — and is responsible for translating operational performance into financial clarity for leadership and investors.

You’ll partner directly with the CEO and executive team to shape company strategy, drive profitability, and design the financial systems that scale with the business.

Key Responsibilities

Own the Full P&L:

Lead end-to-end financial management, reporting, and performance tracking across all revenue and cost centers.

Financial Modeling & Forecasting:

Build and maintain dynamic models tied to GMV, take rate, margin, and cash flow. Run scenario analyses and develop board‑ready forecasts.

Data-Driven Finance:

Directly query and analyze business data using

SQL

and

Snowflake

to validate assumptions, reconcile results, and surface actionable insights.

Strategic Planning:

Partner with leadership on annual and quarterly planning, headcount strategy, and capital allocation to ensure efficient, profitable growth.

Unit Economics & Profitability:

Define, monitor, and optimize marketplace unit economics across brands, reps, and stores.

Capital & Investor Strategy:

Support fundraising and board communications by building data‑backed narratives around growth efficiency and financial health.

Cross-Functional Partnership:

Collaborate with Product, Marketplace, and Growth teams to align financial logic with operational and product realities.

Reporting & Automation:

Design real-time dashboards and financial reports to give leadership actionable visibility into performance and key levers.

Who You Are

5–8 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or marketplace startup environments, with proven ownership of a full P&L.

Experience with SQL and Snowflake is a must — applicants without both will not be considered.

Expert in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning (Excel or Google Sheets).

Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics and SaaS-style metrics (GMV, take rate, CAC, LTV, margin).

Proven ability to turn data into strategic insight and clear business recommendations.

Exceptional communication and executive storytelling skills.

Operates with precision, urgency, and accountability in a high-velocity startup environment.
