A Private Equity Firm is seeking a highly skilled
Tax Senior / Manager
to oversee all tax-related matters for the funds in addition to begin to building out a family office function for the main partner.
Responsibilities
Manage all tax compliance and reporting for the firm’s private equity funds, including partnership tax returns, K-1s, and investor tax packages.
Oversee tax planning and compliance for individual partners, coordinating with external advisors as needed.
Track and interpret tax legislation and regulatory updates impacting private equity and high-net-worth individuals.
Collaborate with external tax advisors, auditors, and legal counsel to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
Support fund formation and structuring efforts from a tax perspective, including reviewing offering documents and partnership agreements.
Lead tax-related aspects of investment transactions, including due diligence and deal structuring.
Continuously enhance internal tax processes and controls for efficiency and accuracy.
Provide strategic tax advice and guidance to senior leadership and investment teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; CPA certification and/or Master’s degree in Taxation strongly preferred.
4–7 years of relevant tax experience, ideally combining public accounting and in‑house private equity exposure.
In‑depth knowledge of partnership tax and individual taxation.
Experience with private equity fund structures, including both domestic and international tax considerations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
