Delivery Consultant - Application Modernization, AWS Professional Services
Application deadline: Jan 6, 2026. The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant—Application Modernization to help customers design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives.
Key Job Responsibilities
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Mentor and train teammates, creating reusable artifacts to share knowledge across the organization.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of architecting/operating cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, or similar.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years delivering application architecture, design, and modernization projects, including cloud-based solutioning and AI/automation.
3+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Professional level certification or equivalent.
Proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Experience delivering large‑scale software development and modernization initiatives in multiple programming languages and generative AI tools.
Proven ability to enforce software engineering best practices across testing, source control, code reviews, and deployment/release management.
