About the Centre for Social Impact (CSI) The Centre for Social Impact (CSI) within the UNSW Business School (Business School) is a research and education centre that develops people and partnerships to accelerate social innovations for a more sustainable and inclusive economy. Our research and education embraces a model of engaged scholarship that involves a collaborative, reciprocal relationships between academics and partners, including communities, organisations, and governments. CSI’s postgraduate, undergraduate and executive education develops social impact leaders across business, government, and non‑profit sectors. CSI is also part of a national network of centres, across four of Australia’s leading universities: UNSW Sydney (CSI UNSW), University of Western Australia (CSI UWA), Flinders University (CSI Flinders) and Swinburne University of Technology (CSI Swinburne).

Why Your Role Matters We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) in an Education Focused capacity to contribute to CSI’s teaching excellence and educational innovation within UNSW Business School. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality learning experiences, designing impactful curriculum, and supporting student success. This position is based in Sydney, Australia.

Responsibilities As a Lecturer (Level B)

Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching across CSI’s education programs within UNSW Business School

Design and develop learning activities, assessments, and resources

Support student progression and employability outcomesContribute to course administration and academic quality assurance

Collaborate with CSI’s research team and participate in CSI/Faculty committees

As a Senior Lecturer (Level C) You Will Also

Lead curriculum innovation and mentoring of peers

Drive digital uplift and online teaching excellence

Engage with industry and attract funding for learning and teaching initiatives

Support student and alumni engagement initiatives

About You Lecturer (Level B)

A PhD in a relevant business or social impact discipline, or equivalent experience

Demonstrated excellence in teaching and curriculum development

Experience with educational technologies and online deliveryCommitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education

Senior Lecturer (Level C)

Proven leadership in educational innovation and mentoring

Nationally recognised teaching track record

Experience engaging with industry and building stakeholder relationships

Demonstrated success in curriculum development and improvement
