Role Overview
Delivering Deal Value will provide an opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value on their transaction activities by solving transformational and complex challenges. The focus is on all operational aspects of a transaction – from pre‑ and post‑completion activities, through pre‑deal due diligence, enterprise‑wide integrations, and complex divestitures and separations across functional areas.
Responsibilities
Work as part of a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Develop new skills outside of your comfort zone.
Act to resolve issues that hinder effective team performance and coach others to take ownership of their development.
Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build meaningful recommendations.
Use multiple information sources, including broader stakeholder views, to develop solutions and recommendations.
Address sub‑standard work or work that does not meet firm/client expectations.
Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision‑making.
Develop a point of view on key global trends and their impact on clients.
Manage various viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.
Deal‑Specific Responsibilities
Lead teams in M&A and divestitures, focusing on HR integration and separation.
Develop and implement HR strategies for complex deals and transformational programs.
Conduct pre‑deal operational due diligence and synergy assessments.
Align PwC and client stakeholders to create a cohesive HR deal plan.
Foster an atmosphere of trust and leverage diverse perspectives within teams.
Generate vision and direction for HR functions in deals, supporting clients in aligning HR functions with overall business objectives.
Achieve successful execution of HR plans during integration and separation phases.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Business acumen and strong problem‑solving skills.
Collaborative relationship building and teamwork facilitation.
Experience leading staff development.
Excellent communication skills in various situations.
Ability to structure and lead HR functions in complex deals.
Experience with HR functional assessments and synergy analyses.
Alignment of PwC and client stakeholders across functional areas.
Partnership with clients for employee transfer processes.
Support of broader M&A efforts around change management.
Benefits Salary range: $99,000 – $232,000, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), holiday pay, vacation, and personal and family sick leave. For a full benefits overview, visit
