Job Description
SEAKR Engineering is seeking an experienced, high-performing, and detail-oriented Inventory Administrator (PA Level 3) to join our team. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who brings strong organizational skills, leadership qualities, and a solid understanding of inventory control practices in a fast-paced, aerospace environment.
The Inventory Administrator Level 3 is responsible for overseeing and executing a wide range of material and inventory functions, including:
Performing duties such as shop order kitting (including complex and high-level test kits), material requisitions and loans, inventory transactions, shortage resolution, and material transfers
Providing input on and helping develop new inventory and materials handling processes
Managing Property Shipments and RMAs
Creating and maintaining inventory locations and tracking for customer-owned and Government Property
Leading and supporting specialized inventory functions such as test equipment management, shipping/receiving, Kanban systems, and count reports
Acting as a primary trainer and mentor for lower level team members
Supporting and helping drive team performance metrics and inventory accuracy initiatives
This role requires limited supervision and a high degree of independence. The ideal candidate consistently delivers high-quality work, demonstrates leadership among peers, and acts as a go-to resource for troubleshooting and training.
This position will work a day shift on a 9/80 schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM Mon–Thurs, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM on working Fridays, with every other Friday off.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in materials management, inventory administration in an aerospace.
Demonstrates foundational understanding of Government Property regulations and customer owned material tracking; ensuring proper accountability and compliance with Property audits and contractual obligations.
Experience training peers and driving continuous improvement in a team environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment
Additional Information
Compensation: Base pay range is $24-28/hour depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
