Scope of Services:
The Applications Architect Advanced will lead the
ServiceNow product development and lifecycle management
for the Florida Department of Revenue. The role involves planning, implementation, governance, compliance, and cross‑functional leadership across technical and business teams.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Information Systems / MIS
Business Administration (with IT focus)
Information Technology
Required Certification:
ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee ServiceNow product development from planning through deployment.
Manage product timelines, releases, and feature delivery.
Translate business needs into actionable development plans.
Monitor and report on performance, risk, and release readiness.
Lead and coordinate teams across technical, business, and vendor groups.
Facilitate collaboration between enterprise architecture, developers, and stakeholders.
Ensure alignment with business and IT strategies.
Define and enforce ServiceNow governance policies and standards.
Review and validate configurations, workflows, and integrations.
Maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Oversee platform configurations, enhancements, and integrations.
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and API integration standards.
Support prototyping, testing, and technical evaluations.
Manage CMDB structure, data quality, and governance.
Oversee Discovery tool setup, data validation, and integration.
Support Agile and Scrum delivery models.
Coordinate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and iterative development.
Ensure compliance with Florida IT governance rules (60GG‑1 through 5, F.A.C.).
Align development activities with enterprise architecture and security standards.
Present technical and functional updates to leadership and business teams.
Facilitate training and knowledge transfer sessions for end users.
Recommend process and platform improvements.
Incorporate user feedback and monitor quality standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, CMDB, and Discovery processes.
Produce regular reports on project progress, readiness, and risk management.
Provide end‑user training and onboarding for new ServiceNow features.
