EY-Parthenon’s unique blend of transformative strategy, transactions and corporate finance delivers real‑world value. As a Director in our corporate and growth strategy practice for financial services, you will partner with CEOs, boards, private equity and governments, driving strategy for banks, capital markets, asset management, wealth management, and insurance.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead workstreams and engagements, translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables.

Manage day‑to‑day problem‑solving and team analytical activities.

Serve as key liaison between consulting team members, senior directors, partners, and clients.

Develop long‑term strategies, assess acquisition opportunities, improve operating costs, and evaluate new business ventures.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Develop business strategies using market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization.

Review transaction rationale and deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks.

Manage and motivate diverse workstreams and teams.

Mentor junior team members at associate, senior associate, and consultant levels.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic performance and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience.

Experience managing business strategy development in banking, capital markets, payments, wealth management, and/or asset management.

Experience managing M&A strategic diligence projects in complex environments.

Ability to assess industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.

Proficiency in English, written and verbal.

Effective organization and time‑management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Reside in or be within commuting distance to the office location.

Willingness to travel and work excess standard hours when required.

Ideally You Also Have

Excellent problem‑solving, project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Knowledge of leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot in business settings.

Experience in digital assets and emerging technology trends, including cryptocurrency, tokenization, stablecoins, GenAI, and fintech ecosystem analysis.

What We Offer You

A comprehensive compensation and benefits package. Base salary range in the US: $205,000 to $235,000.
