Your Key Responsibilities
Lead workstreams and engagements, translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables.
Manage day‑to‑day problem solving and team analytical activities.
Serve as a key liaison between consulting team members, EY-Parthenon Senior Directors, Partners, and clients.
Develop long‑term strategies, evaluate potential acquisitions, improve operational performance, and assess new business ventures.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Develop business strategies using market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization.
Review transaction rationale and deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks.
Manage and motivate diverse workstreams and teams.
Mentor junior team members at Associate, Senior Associate, and Consultant levels.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (outstanding academic performance) with 5 years of related experience; or graduate degree with approximately 3 years of related experience.
Experience managing business strategy development in banking, capital markets, payments, wealth management, or asset management sectors, from consulting or direct industry roles.
Experience managing M&A strategic diligence projects in complex environments.
Strong assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.
Effective organization and time‑management skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Residence or commutable distance to Chicago office.
Willingness to travel and work extra hours as required.

Excellent problem‑solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
Multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
Knowledge of firm‑approved AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot.
Experience in digital assets, GenAI, fintech ecosystem, or emerging technology trends.
What We Offer
Competitive compensation: $205,000–$235,000 base salary plus performance‑based rewards.
