Network Planning Engineer

Overview: Arcadia Strategy Group seeks an experienced Telecom Facility Engineer / Network Planning Engineer to support complex data transport and telecom infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing, provisioning, and optimizing TDM and packet-based transport networks in carrier or enterprise environments.Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth performance and capacity analysis of telecom transport and switching systems across TDM and packet environments.Analyze network circuit utilization, reliability, and throughput.Monitor and evaluate system health using Network Management Systems (NMS) and provide actionable recommendations.Assess interoperability between legacy and IP-based systems, identifying technical risks and mitigation options.Support engineering teams by producing detailed technical reports and metrics dashboards.Qualifications:6+ years of experience in telecom facility engineering, network planning, or data transport engineering.Strong understanding of telecom protocols and standards (MPLS, OSPF, BGP, SONET/SDH, Ethernet).Experience with telecom service providers or large-scale network operators.Working knowledge of NMS, and familiarity with NFV and SDN technologies.Proficiency with switches, routers, multiplexers, and related transmission systems.Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.BenefitsAt ASG we recognize and reward your contributions.
