HR Generalist (Recruiting Focus)

Pay Rate:

$26-$29/hr.

Reports To:

Human Resources Manager

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

Overview My client is seeking an HR Generalist to support their team with recruiting, employee onboarding, HRIS management, payroll support, and general HR operations. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail‑oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities and support both employees and leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead recruitment efforts: post jobs, review applications, schedule and conduct interviews

Coordinate new hire onboarding, benefits enrollment, and orientation

Maintain HRIS (UKG/Kronos) and employee records

Assist with payroll, trainings, and employee meetings

Support HR policy implementation, compliance, and best practices

Train staff on HR systems and processes

Contribute to HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects

Qualifications

2-3 years of HR experience, including recruiting and interviewing

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred

Experience with HRIS systems, especially UKG/Kronos, preferred

SHRM-CP or PHR a plus

Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills

High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential matters
