Position Summary The Senior Marketing Coordinator supports business development and marketing initiatives under the direction of the Business Development Manager. The role collaborates with engineers, managers, and technical experts to produce high‑quality proposals, rosters, award submittals, resumes, and project descriptions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Participate in or lead proposal teams responding to RFPs, RFQs, award submittals, and roster applications, including pre‑proposal activities.
Attend pre‑proposal meetings as needed.
Develop compelling marketing proposals and supporting materials.
Compile proposal content—graphics, text, forms, and subconsultant materials—into polished, client‑ready packages.
Create qualification packages, resumes, project descriptions, and award submittals tailored to specific pursuits.
Support pursuit and presentation activities as required.
Conduct client research and manage leads to support business development and project teams.
Ensure all marketing deliverables meet Ghirardelli Associates’ high standards for quality and maintain marketing collateral and promotional items.
Contribute to internal communications, including social media content, newsletters, and website updates.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; CPSM certification preferred.
Excellent communication and coordination skills (oral and written).
Strong writing and editing abilities.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite.
Skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Advanced graphic design and document layout skills.
Superior organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to produce high‑quality materials under deadline pressure.
Capability to work independently and within a team environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions Regularly required to sit for 6‑8 hours per day, use hands for repetitive tasks, and occasionally lift up to 10–25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
