Staff Accountant
to join their Finance & Accounting team. The role is newly created to support accounting operations for multiple business units and assist leadership with financial reporting and analysis.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, QuickBooks-savvy, and comfortable working independently with minimal training.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting activities using QuickBooks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
Process accurate and timely payments, vendor invoices, and cash receipts.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in compliance with GAAP.
Perform detailed account analysis and variance investigations.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Assist with audit requests and administrative renewals (e.g., insurance, surveys).
Manage intercompany billing, reconciliations, and reporting.
Calculate and record quarterly interest on intercompany loans.
Develop and enhance Excel‑based reporting tools using PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced formulas.
Perform ad‑hoc financial analyses and reconciliations as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA a plus).
2+ years of general accounting experience preferred.
Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online strongly preferred).
Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling.
Ability to work independently with limited direction or training.
Experience supporting multiple entities or working with foreign transactions is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
