Senior Human Resources Specialist
Join The Haartz Corporation, a world‑class automotive interior supplier based in Acton, Massachusetts, to lead our HR initiatives as a Senior Human Resources Specialist.
Overview In this onsite role, you will administer the company’s benefits programs, manage leave in compliance with state and federal regulations, conduct new hire meetings, support UKG enrollment, oversee leave‑management programs, ensure regulatory and plan compliance, and assist with training administration. The position requires flexibility for occasional evening work and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Administer benefits programs and manage leave in accordance with applicable laws.
Conduct new‑hire meetings and support UKG enrollment.
Administer leave‑management programs and ensure regulatory and plan compliance.
Assist with training administration and reporting.
Maintain confidentiality, data integrity, and system security.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support HR initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in HR, including at least three years administering benefits and leave.
Knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws (FMLA, PFML, STD, LTD, ADA, COBRA).
Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.
High aptitude for systems, confidentiality, creative problem‑solving, and data integrity.
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field strongly preferred.
PHR and/or SHRM‑CP designations preferred.
Bilingual Spanish a plus.
Experience in manufacturing or similar industry strongly preferred.
