Workforce Analyst, Sr. — Contract Opportunity Contract Length: 6 months Pay Rate: $47/hour

About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Senior Workforce Management Analyst for a 6‑month contract assignment. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring staffing levels align with business demand by forecasting needs, managing workforce data, and providing strategic insights to leadership. This position serves as a bridge between multiple departments and helps shape long‑term workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

Manage staffing files and facilitate meetings across various teams.

Serve as the first point of contact for workforce‑related inquiries.

Monitor attrition and staffing KPIs; provide recommendations for optimization.

Lead and manage workforce analytics projects and scale best practices across the organization.

Train leaders on workforce management principles and risk mitigation.

Forecast and plan staffing needs up to two years in advance.

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments to align on strategy and workforce planning.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

5+ years of Workforce Management experience.

5+ years of advanced Excel experience (large datasets, linked files, complex formulas).

3+ years of Headcount and Capacity Planning experience.

Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.

Experience with Succession Planning, Attrition Goal Setting, and Financial Risk Analysis.

Proven ability to lead staffing meetings and navigate complex organizational structures.

Skills & Competencies

Expert‑level Excel (functions, arrays, index match, pivot tables, data visualizations).

Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Ability to create clear visual reports and dashboards for diverse audiences.

Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to identify and address workforce risks.

Confident collaborator and subject matter expert in workforce strategy.
