Dental Front Office - Patient Service Representative

Baltimore, MD . This position focuses on providing exceptional patient service in a high‑energy, team‑oriented dental practice.
Overview The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, eager to learn, and ready to become an integral part of our front‑office team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will support all staff and patients by answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, posting charges, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
What We Offer
Pay: $21–$25 per hour
Full‑time schedule: Monday 8 am–4:30 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9 am–5:30 pm; Friday 8 am–3:30 pm

Responsibilities
Greet patients upon arrival, acknowledge and smile
Answer telephone calls and respond to patient questions and concerns per DCA Policies
Solve appointment scheduling and maintain the appointment book
Confirm appointments and follow up on no‑shows/cancellations
Register patients on the sign‑in sheet, post charges and payments to patient accounts
Check and respond to voicemail daily
Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
Assist with the completion of patient treatment plans and finance arrangements as assigned
Qualifications
Experience working in a dental office
Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
Strong telephone etiquette and customer‑service skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain flexible with changing priorities
