What We Are Seeking We are seeking an experienced, client-focused insurance professional with strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn & be part of a fantastic team. The ideal candidate will possess 5 years of personal lines insurance experience and understand farm & small hobby farm coverage.
Job Responsibilities
Manage a book of business consisting of farm & small hobby farms and personal lines insurance accounts.
Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
Review and analyze coverage, identifying gaps and recommending solutions.
Market new and renewal business by preparing applications, gathering underwriting information, and working with multiple carriers to secure competitive coverage.
Maintain accurate documentation in the agency management system (Epic).
Essential Qualifications
High School Diploma (or Equivalent).
License: Property & Casualty (any state).
5+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience with an independent insurance agency.
Preferred Skills
Expertise in Farm & Small Hobby Farms, Personal Auto, Personal Liability/Personal Umbrella, Homeowners & Renters, Flood/Wind/Hail, Agriculture.
Experience with Epic management system.
Computer skills: DocuSign, MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
Strong communication, problem solving, and relationship building.
