Part-Time Instructor | Environmental Health and Safety
We invite applications for the Part‑Time Instructor – Environmental Health and Safety position at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. The position is temporary for the Spring 2026 semester, hiring on a semester‑by‑semester basis.
Primary Purpose of Position The Department of Built Environment seeks an instructor to teach introductory and advanced level courses in the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program. The instructor will teach face‑to‑face and/or online courses, attend training and review sessions, provide academic advising, support student organizations, and participate in program development and assessment.
Responsibilities
Teach introductory and advanced courses in Environmental Health and Safety.
Deliver instruction both face‑to‑face and/or online.
Attend faculty training and review sessions as required.
Provide academic advising to EHS students.
Support student‑run organizations related to EHS.
Contribute to program development and assessment activities.
Collaborate cooperatively with faculty and staff within the department and university.

Master’s Degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in a related field.
