Responsibilities
Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
Qualify leads by understanding their needs and interests in hosting Book Fairs, setting up appointments for Account Managers
Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation strategies and enhance sales effectiveness
Support customer satisfaction through effective sales and servicing methods, while building relationships with educators and administrators
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management systems
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills for relationship-building with customers and internal teams
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
