Duties & Responsibilities
Maintains and utilizes ILD product knowledge and selling skills to influence targeted ILD health care professionals and support the use of Boehringer Ingelheim promoted products. Executes brand strategies to ensure a consistent company sales and marketing message. Establishes and maintains effective communication and coordination with internal Boehringer Ingelheim employees. Develops clinic and customer pre-call plans to meet ILD health care professionals and account needs; builds discussions around ILD HCP needs and opportunities; fosters network development and provides timely follow-up discussions. Identifies ILD business needs and creates plans for territory development, involving internal stakeholders in execution. Analyzes territory information to optimize HCP calls and responds to local market conditions that impact business. Creates plans to maximize regional and national speaker programs and other regional sales and marketing programs; adjusts implementation plans as needed. Utilizes sales data and analyses to plan activity, maintains records, and completes administrative responsibilities in a timely manner; completes Sales Training requirements. Develops and manages relationships with regional and national ILD thought leaders and advocates; coordinates with internal teams to support speakers and attendees; manages programs within BI ILD standards and budget guidance. Performs business in compliance with regulations (EEO, FDA, DEA, OSHA, PDMA, EPA, PhRMA, etc.) and company policies; reports violations to management and maintains high ethical standards in interactions. Maintains complete knowledge of BIPI ILD products and translates product knowledge into customer-focused sales presentations to provide solutions-based interactions. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required. A minimum of three (3) years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience required; two-plus (2+) years of specialty/pulmonary experience preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to translate scientific information to a broad range of ILD customers. Ability to travel with overnights and some weekend program attendance. Eligibility
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required). Must be 18 years of age or older. About Boehringer Ingelheim
