Goetze Dental is a fifth-generation, family-owned, wholesale distributor of dental supplies and capital equipment. Since 1884, we have exclusively supported the private dental practice and believe this is where the best patient care is delivered. Our company is looking for a dynamic sales professional to join our team. This person should have sales experience with a strong B2B sales process background and a proven record of producing sustainable sales results, ideally in a healthcare setting.
Job Title Field Sales Representative
to be responsible for strategic management and development of assigned territory.
Primary Roles And Responsibilities
Develops and manages a specific territory
by increasing market share as a primary objective. Market share increase is primarily accomplished through the growth of existing accounts as well as cultivation and capture of new accounts.
Plans, organizes and implements effective strategies
using all company programs, tools, human resources, and initiatives to increase market share.
Responds to customer concerns
in a timely fashion, takes appropriate actions to ensure customer issues/opportunities are communicated to appropriate personnel for full resolution.
Selling efforts must be highly coordinated
to meet the complex needs of a rapidly changing industry and customer.
Attends all required dental conventions/seminars
and participates in all training programs as instructed by the Director of Sales and President of Goetze Dental.
Cooperates with all dental personnel
in the execution of all company programs and corporate initiatives.
Maintains a high level of integrity
and constantly focuses on continuing education programs to enhance sales and business acumen and subsequent sales performance.
Participates in special projects
and performs other duties as required.
In addition to the primary roles and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Job Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or equivalent degree required; Dental experience preferred.
2+ years' experience in outside sales, preferably selling company manufactured products or products through dental distribution.
Previous sales experience is required; must possess strong communication skills as well as sound business judgment.
A demonstrated track record for meeting sales objectives for a dynamic company.
Successful history in negotiating and contracting with key customers.
Experience with different go-to-market strategies and selling channels, including distribution, manufacturer’s reps, and special markets.
Successful candidate must live in or near Omaha.
Excellent communication skills including oral, written, and technical communication.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with prior dental or medical device sales experience.
Strong successful sales track record
Strong data analytics skills, CRM and MS-Office applications.
Independent, creative, and competitive track record of success.
Strong critical thinking skills, adaptable, agile and solutions oriented
Valid driver’s license
Travel / Location
Geographic Region: Omaha, Western Nebraska, and parts of Eastern Iowa
