We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven sales professional with a proven track record of success who is looking to grow with Lundbeck. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to be a specialty product expert with an understanding of requisite market complexities in order to be successful promoting our products to stakeholders in the primary care and neurology settings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Business Planning & Account Leadership

– Use digital tools and data‑based insights to create opportunities, develop strategy, allocate resources, monitor progress, and adjust direction to maximize sales performance.

Selling

– Deliver clear and compelling messages to customers, probe needs, handle objections, and close every call with commitment to action to drive behavior changes.

Customer Development

– Build and maintain productive internal and external relationships based on customer needs and organizational goals.

Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise

– Gather and validate key trends and dynamics, map account linkages, and use therapeutic knowledge to uncover priorities.

Reimbursement

– Stay informed on reimbursement dynamics and address payer access issues (IDNs, Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial).

Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance

– Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical and regulatory environment, adhere to Lundbeck policies and FDA regulations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.

2‑5 years of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.

Must score highly on disease and product training exams and be certified on product knowledge annually.

Self‑starter with strong work ethic, tenacity, and outstanding communication skills.

Adaptability: ability to embrace change and collaborate in a fast‑paced team.

Problem‑solving: proven analytical skills to identify solutions and overcome obstacles.

Data analysis: strong technical skills for developing short‑ and long‑term goals aligned with business objectives.

Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.

Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; driving is essential duty.

Meeting industry‑standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers/customer facilities required for continued employment.

Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move items up to 25 lbs.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

Successful experience selling to general practitioners and primary care centers.

Experience promoting CNS/neuroscience products.

Experience working with alliance partners (co‑promotions).

TRAVEL

Willingness/Ability to travel up to 30%‑40% domestically for customer and internal meetings, including 4‑8 conferences per year.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Salary range: $108,000 to $125,000.

Sales incentive target of $39,000.
