Position Summary
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming materials, parts, and equipment used in ambulance manufacturing. This position ensures accuracy in shipments, maintains proper documentation, and coordinates with purchasing, quality, and production teams to keep materials flowing efficiently through the facility.

Key Responsibilities
1. Receiving and Inspection Unload deliveries and verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices. Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate department. Accurately record all received materials in the ERP or inventory management system. Tag and label materials with identifying information and proper storage locations. 2. Inventory and Material Handling
Move received materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or carts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area. Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory as needed. Communicate shortages or overages to Purchasing and Inventory Control. 3. Documentation and Communication
Maintain accurate receiving records and ensure all documentation is filed and accessible. Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality Control, and Production teams to resolve discrepancies. Support traceability and compliance by ensuring proper part identification and documentation for regulated components. Assist in tracking deliveries and backorders to ensure timely availability of materials for production. 4. Safety and Compliance
Follow all safety procedures for handling materials and operating equipment. Report unsafe conditions or practices immediately. Ensure all shipments comply with company policies and applicable safety and environmental regulations. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in logistics or inventory management preferred. 2+ years of experience in receiving, warehouse, or inventory control (manufacturing experience preferred). Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, or similar). Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, and bills of lading. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization skills. What You Bring

Excellent communication (phone, email, and face-to-face). Basic forklift experience or willingness to train. Team-oriented attitude and ability to work independently. Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Regularly required to walk, lift, bend, kneel, and carry items up to 50 lbs. Work indoors with exposure to temperature changes, mechanical equipment, and airborne particles. Must be able to use senses such as sight, touch, and hearing to perform job duties. Important Notes
