https://www.hdrinc.com/our-story As an EIT Aviation, you will: Be aware of FAA Orders, Advisory Circulars (AC), UFC requirements, local agency requirements, and client manuals. Be informed of at least one specialty element (e.g., pavement, drainage, lighting, signage, etc.). Participate in the HDR Airfield Design Community of Practice (CoP). Assist with process & tool application & development, including basic use of AutoCAD Civil 3D and introduction to AVI-Plan software packages. Prepare elements of aviation-related designs, studies, and reports under guidance. Maintain project records, SharePoint sites, and project files. Support marketing efforts, including maintaining an updated resume. Perform other duties as needed. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Interest or experience in designing general aviation, commercial service, and/or military airfields. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (or similar software) and familiarity with AVI-Plan software. Experience with Microsoft Office. Ability to work well in a team environment.
