What You'll Do
Financial Operations Manage accounts payable for commercial properties, including invoice review, coding, and approval workflows Process rent collection and assist with comprehensive cash management processes Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records Support month-end and year-end closing processes Handle tenant billing and collections for commercial real estate portfolio Maintain detailed records for multiple properties and ensure compliance with lease terms Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis Generate management reports and financial summaries Process journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Support property management team with various accounting tasks Coordinate with external vendors, tenants, and internal stakeholders Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Minimum 3 years of property accounting or real estate accounting experience Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and cash management Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, MRI, AppFolio) and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail Strong communication skills for tenant and vendor interactions Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong organizational skills with capability to manage multiple properties Problem-solving mindset with proactive approach to challenges Team player with ability to work independently
