Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Westfield. The ideal candidate will play a key role in month-end close processes, financial reporting, and fixed asset accounting. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of GAAP, and proven experience managing fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset subledger, including additions, disposals, and transfers
Calculate and record monthly depreciation entries in compliance with GAAP
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare financial reports and analysis for management and external stakeholders
Support annual audit by providing documentation and answering auditor inquiries
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate project costing and capitalization
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of accounting experience, including hands-on fixed asset accounting
