Job Summary As the first level of contact with existing accounts in your assigned territory, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, cultivating customer relationships, and growing sales volume for Essilor branded products. You will utilize corporate tools and applications to document, plan, monitor, and meet sales objectives within the territory.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with Specialists to drive Essilor branded growth, training opportunities, and current initiatives.
Develop existing account base (75%) and acquire new accounts via territory prospecting (25%).
Review cycle plans, market conditions, Essilor KPI expectations, and customer needs with District Sales Manager to plan territory sales strategy and refine call schedules.
Build and implement strategies for all accounts, creating in‑depth plans for key accounts.
Collaborate with lab personnel to identify account opportunities and adjust call schedules and business plans accordingly.
Utilize Brand Sales strategy to develop trusted partnerships with ECPS, driving growth of branded product sales and overall business.
Determine customer needs and position Essilor’s premium branded products and Customer Development Group programs to effectively meet those needs.
Use analytical tools and software applications (SFDC, Rx Analysis, Profit Analyzer, Price‑File Maintenance) effectively to manage territory accounts.
Apply a consultative selling approach to drive immediate sales and establish long‑term business partnerships.
Conduct highly effective account seminars for large and small audiences.
Anticipate and address customer needs proactively, resolving issues in a timely manner while strengthening relationships.
Basic Qualifications
Demonstrated sales results with 3 to 5 years sales experience.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, and ability to contribute to overall team.
Proficiency in computer applications and presentation tools.
Customer service orientation required; experience in client relations preferred.
Ability to travel overnight approximately 50% of the time.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $58,088 – $92,255 (annually). In addition, you may be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
