Operations Technical Team Supervisor (Human Resource Consultant 4) Location Headquarters Office, Lacey, WA. Must live within commutable distance from duty station.

Schedule Eligible for telework and flexible schedule. Expected to work three days per week in office for onboarding; thereafter minimum one day per week in office. Schedules subject to change.

What you will do

Serve as the agency’s technical expert in Washington’s HRMS.

Supervise the Operations Technical Team, providing coaching, guidance, and removal of barriers.

Establish a sustainable auditing schedule for HRMS data integrity.

Create reports and variants in HRMS or Washington Workforce Analytics.

Identify, recommend, and lead improvement projects to create efficiencies.

Process appointment paperwork or position actions by entering data into HRMS as needed.

Required Qualifications

Seven years of broad-based HR work, including advising/supporting HR issues; two years involving HR management/information systems.

Experience includes: Extensive use of enterprise HR systems comparable to Washington State’s HRMS; expertise in HR data analysis & reporting; knowledge of Washington statutes & policies; technical & operational leadership supervising HR operations; process improvement and system optimization.

Education majoring in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business, public administration, or related fields.

Desired Qualifications

Experience advising on reasonable accommodation and Family Medical Leave in federal and state law.

Experience leading or supervising a team.

Prior human resource experience in public sector / unionized workplace.

Experience entering data into WA State HRMS.

Professional certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CLRP).
