The Information Systems Division works in collaboration with programs and county agencies, to provide solutions to systems that assist families access essentials such as, but not limited to, medical services, care providers, groceries, and transportation.
The ITS II reports to the Innovative Technology Solutions Branch (ITSB) IT Manager I. The Salesforce Configuration specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of the Facility Management System (FMS) Salesforce platform and its related components. The incumbent ensures the system is maintained, users are supported, and enhancements are delivered in alignment with State policies and procedures.
Salesforce Administration & Configuration
Performs routine Salesforce administrative functions including user setup, role and permission management, page layouts, validation rules, and workflows. Maintains system configurations to meet business requirements and ensures data integrity. Collaborates with business analysts, developers, vendors, and product owners to implement approved changes. Assists in developing and maintaining system documentation, such as user guides, training materials, and configuration records.
Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to business users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving system errors. Participates in sprint activities to validate business requirements and test solutions. Assists in managing the change control process, ensuring changes are properly documented, tested, and deployed. Supports communication efforts to keep stakeholders informed of system updates, enhancements, and scheduled maintenance.
Creates and maintains Salesforce reports and dashboards to support business needs. Ensures data accuracy by performing routine data maintenance activities such as data loads, de-duplication, and monitoring integrations. Works closely with business units to understand reporting needs and provide solutions that drive data-driven decision-making.
Supports other ITSB initiatives as required, including assisting with project coordination, documentation, and collaboration with external partners and programs.
This is a 12-month limited term position and may be extended to a maximum of 24-months and/or may become permanent based on operational needs.
