In this role, as a Manager within the OAPI supply chain team, you will aim to achieve operational goals while working cross-functionally to support development, planning, and implementation of the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process. You will support execution of global sourcing strategies across supplier categories related to Otsuka products and manage a complex portfolio of products with competing priorities to balance inventory, manage vendor/supplier relationships, and optimize total delivered cost to meet finished goods demand with a focus on delivering value to patients, suppliers, and Otsuka. You will foster proactive communications with cross-functional collaborators to ensure internal and external customer demands are consistently met with no lapses in supply and product availability. Additional facets include coordinating purchase requisitions in the ERP system, monitoring supplier performance KPIs and reporting, and aligning production and development efforts with program goals while communicating demand/forecast with key vendors/suppliers. You will work closely with program/project managers, product development, new product introduction, technical operations, and site quality and pharmaceutical development internal/external manufacturing teams. Job Duties could include

: Planning Manage demand planning meetings with internal business partners (Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, Channel Strategy, etc.) to gather total demand for assigned responsibilities. Partner with internal teams to review and streamline the demand planning process. Develop and manage product manufacturing and distribution plans for new and existing products to provide continuous supply, including international product. Create and maintain replenishment plans for finished products across responsible territories and generate replenishment orders to sites at the planning time fence. Develop and implement safety stock with sufficient shelf-life aligned to desired customer service levels to meet inventory objectives. Manage manufacturing plan communications with all internal and external parties. Manage purchase order processes and coordinate with drug product plants and packaging CMOs to ensure on-time execution of the product plan. Coordinate communications with interdisciplinary teams (Vendors, Channel Strategy, Global Product Quality, Quality Control, Finance, Legal, Packaging, etc.) to monitor processes and provide feedback. Manage exceptions to existing replenishment plans and work with third-party suppliers or site production planners to resolve and adjust plans to reflect changes in demand and supply. Escalate supply issues and risks and implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies to maintain supply continuity. Manage the monthly S&OP process including internal functional areas and align on future actions. Report results to all levels of the organization and provide monthly supply chain metrics in coordination with finance for month-end close and J-SOX controls. Manage inventory levels and stock movement tracking, including inventory reconciliation. Support ad hoc modelling of supply scenarios with quick turnaround, high accuracy, well-vetted assumptions, and team-supported conclusions. Coordinate transportation/logistics, release documentation with GPQ, resolve invoice discrepancies, maintain master data, and perform related activities as needed. Distribution and Logistics Address distribution issue escalations and coordinate resolutions with 3PL and internal teams. Manage interfaces, transactions, and postings in the ERP system. Oversee 3PL processes for inventory, returns, claims, recalls, reporting, and product destructions. Manage inventory reporting and communications with relevant stakeholders. Oversee pick/pack/ship processes with 3PL to ensure full and on-time delivery to meet customer service targets. Define packing instructions for new routes, shipping configurations, and transportation methods with packaging and quality teams. Manage distribution state license submissions and renewals with Legal and vendors. Coordinate international and intercompany orders and shipments with customers and 3PL, including shipping forecast, communications, documentation, and issue resolution. Oversee serialization program at 3PL and collaborate to comply with DSCSA requirements. Manage distribution budget, service POs, and invoices for 3PL and other vendors. Collaborate with Finance on expense allocations, budget forecasts, accruals, and related activities. Vendor Management Lead vendor/supplier relationships for Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Packaging, Distribution & Logistics vendors within defined tiers. Manage service agreements, product launches, business reviews, performance metrics, and audits in collaboration with internal functions (Finance, Channel Strategy/Trade, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Technical Operations, Clinical, Quality, IT, Legal, etc.). Proactively monitor supply chain and packaging risks and report supplier performance data to the category manager. Develop ways of working and controls to improve processes and system efficiency while meeting compliance requirements. SOPs & Compliance Manage supply chain SOPs and training curriculum to comply with GxP, company policies, and industry regulations. Qualifications Required

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field Years of Experience: 5-7 Technical Skills: Business analytics, Project Management, ERP, MS 365 Suite Leadership Skills: Negotiation, Team Leadership, Networking Communication Skills: Well organized in thought, communication, and work Cultural Experience: Ability to deal with ambiguity, curious mindset, adaptable, collaborative multi-team approach Industry Experience: Pharma, Medical Device, Food Preferred Certifications: APICS Technical Skills: GMP, SAP S/4HANA DEA experience Competencies Accountability for Results – Stay focused on key objectives and lead change. Empowered Development – Engage in ongoing professional development. Compensation Minimum $104,640.00 - Maximum $156,400.00, plus incentive opportunity. The range represents typical pay for roles in the United States and may vary by experience, skills, and internal benchmarks.
