Responsibilities
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and ensure timely execution of projects. Lead the project team on the development of innovative and efficient architectural designs that align with the client’s needs, vision, and budget. Evaluate team’s skills and capabilities to assign and organize responsibilities and tasks to streamline processes and meet deadlines. Provide guidance and feedback to project team members to assist in their growth and ensure the design and technical standards are met. Coordinate with the client, contractors, and consultants; ensure project requirements are met. Prepare and review design presentations, drawings, and specifications to ensure all architectural drawings and documents meet technical and quality standards. Coordinate with engineers to integrate all systems and materials effectively into the project; ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards. Provide technical and design support during construction administration and ensure construction processes meet high standards of quality, safety, and performance. Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, etc. Identify and resolve issues or challenges that arise during the design and construction phases, including changes in scope or unforeseen technical challenges. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture 10-15 years of professional experience; well-rounded in all aspects of a project including technical details and management Experience across multiple sectors including Multifamily, Aviation, and infrastructure Current Licensed Architect preferred Collaborative workstyle with the ability to mentor, guide, and coach junior staff Strong time management skills, well organized and a creative problem solver Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities, sometimes with competing deadlines Proficiency in Revit with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with wood construction is beneficial How to apply
