What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure data solutions to meet organizational needs
Create and maintain logical and physical data models for business intelligence and analytics
Build and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines for efficient data flow
Integrate diverse data sources into a unified data platform
Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems and pipelines to ensure reliability
What is Required (Qualifications):
5+ years of experience building, maintaining, and orchestrating scalable data pipelines
3+ years of experience as a data engineer with integration using tools like Airflow
Experience in backend software development and distributed computing
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience working with sensitive data and knowledge of data governance principles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Amazon Redshift)
Experience building internal frameworks or development productivity tools
Understanding of automated testing concepts and ability to apply them consistently
