POSTED 10-7-2025 108 year old construction company. Family owned and operated since 1918. This is a design-build general contractor focused on commercial/industrial construction with projects typically in the $5 million to $25 million range. We are locally owned and operated and support a local radius of 100 miles around Louisville, KY. Responsibilities

DAILY responsibilities: Post and deposit checks as received; set up any new job costs budgets before a project starts; enter accounts payable. WEEKLY responsibilities: Complete payroll hours and benefits on Wednesday for payroll processing; deposit payroll taxes on IRS website; deposit/post 401(k) withholding on Ascensus; print payable checks. MONTHLY responsibilities: Monthly withholding deposits (Indiana/City); bi-weekly Kentucky withholding; prepare income statement and balance sheets for six Lichtefeld owned companies; bill construction projects to owners on AIA format prior to the first day of the month; bill any time and material jobs prior to the first day of the month; reconcile bank statements; prepare work-in-progress report; reconcile VISA statements; review monthly statements for real estate partnerships managed by PM company. QUARTERLY responsibilities: Pay estimated taxes for the company, partnerships, and president personally; bill water usage for One partnership. ANNUALLY responsibilities: Update SAM reporting for properties; meet with insurance company for renewals and update property schedules; meet with insurance auditors for general liability and workers’ compensation; update insurance premium deductions in payroll; annual payroll reporting for all tax jurisdictions; annual auto fringe deductions in December; post stockholder health insurance as fringe; calculate CAM expenses for partnerships/LLCs and adjust CAM charges; annual reporting for all partnerships/corporations in Kentucky SOS; update CAM expenses for partnerships and adjust CAM charges. Miscellaneous: Issue key fobs for building access; prepare leases and addendums; manage software for ComputerEase accounting; onboard/update phones for employees; maintain computers; submit advertising invoices for ad-share reimbursement. Qualifications

Requirements: Design-build general contractor with a minimum of 6 years of experience, preferably in construction or construction trades. Experience in full cycle accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, general ledger entry, accrual accounting), month and year-end financial reporting, multi-vendor transaction management, insurance benefits knowledge, cost accounting, cash flow, forecasting, budgeting, and work-in-progress reporting. Payroll entry is a plus; Human Resources experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Quicken Books; ComputerEase (preferred) accounting systems. General office management skills for day-to-day coordination and problem solving. Company Description
