Fund Services Manager | Hybrid (Downtown Boston) A global professional services firm specializing in fund, corporate, and private client administration is seeking Fund Services professionals at the Manager and Senior Manager levels to join its growing Boston office. This is a strong opportunity for candidates with private equity, hedge fund, or real estate fund accounting experience who want to advance within a global organization known for its collaborative culture and employee ownership model.

Location:

Boston, MA (3/2 hybrid at 75 State Street)

Compensation:

base salary + annual bonus + 401k match + profit sharing / share awards + excellent benefits

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the accounting, reporting, and investor servicing for private equity and real estate funds.

Review and approve fund-level and investor-level financial activity, including capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, and management fees.

Manage client relationships and coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits.

Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality and accuracy across deliverables.

Review and interpret fund governing documents to ensure compliance with GAAP and partnership agreements.

Support process improvements and system enhancements to drive efficiency and consistency.

Qualifications

5+ years of alternative fund accounting or administration experience (private equity, hedge, or real estate).

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and partnership accounting.

Leadership experience preferred; CPA a plus but not required.

Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
