Account Executive - Sales Our client is seeking a driven Account Executive with a strong background in the electrical power industry to join their growing sales team.
The ideal candidate is a proven hunter who thrives on generating new business opportunities while also nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships.
This role requires technical fluency in electrical maintenance, safety, and power systems, paired with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales goals.
What You’ll Do
Execute inside sales activities, including outbound calls, daily prospecting, and lead generation.
Develop new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing customer accounts.
Pursue and close sales opportunities to meet and exceed annual quota.
Collaborate with Marketing to enhance customer outreach, re-engage prior customers, and build growth strategies.
Represent the company with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy at all times.
Attend selected trade shows and customer visits (limited overnight travel).
Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records within CRM systems.
What You Must Have
Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in the electrical power industry (electrical maintenance, safety, or related fields required).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrated success in new business development (hunter mentality).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and independent working skills.
Working knowledge or hands‑on experience with:
Substations
Circuit breakers
Relays
Power cables
Transformers
