Desktop Support Technician
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide technical support and deployment services in a manufacturing production environment. This role ensures smooth operation of endpoint devices and related technologies, delivering world-class service to internal employees.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for PCs, tablets, mobile devices, scanners, printers, and other peripherals in a production facility.
Perform PC reimaging, deployment, and refresh activities in an enterprise environment, including Autopilot configuration.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both remotely and deskside, ensuring minimal downtime and high user satisfaction.
Utilize IT Service Management best practices and ServiceNow for ticket handling and documentation.
Manage asset inventory for hardware devices and maintain accurate records.
Participate in IT-related projects and deployments as required by the business and IT organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with endpoint support for PCs, tablets, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Strong background in PC imaging and deployment processes; Autopilot experience preferred.
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues in an enterprise environment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
