Overview Bring your creativity and leadership to the kitchen! As a Sous Chef, you will lead a team in creating a nutritious and appealing dining experience for our wonderful residents.
Responsibilities
Assists with managing the daily operations of the kitchen, establishes goals for the culinary services department, and trains the kitchen staff regarding food preparation and handling.
Create menus that drive resident meal satisfaction.
Serve meals based on residents' preferences.
Promote food safety and sanitation.
Actively participate in all culinary trainings and welcome and onboard new hires.
Qualifications Qualifications Required
Commitment to quality service, food quality, and trend knowledge.
Two years in a cooking role.
Qualifications Preferred
Completion of a two (2) year Culinary College program.
Understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
Food Safety Sanitation Certificate.
