Lead Supervisor Job Description Coach is a global fashion house founded in New York in 1941 and part of the Tapestry portfolio. The Lead Supervisor role is integral to the store’s success, modeling behaviors that directly impact all aspects of our business: sales and operations.

Sample of Tasks Required

Sales:

Understand organizational objectives, partner with Store Manager(s) and Assistant Store Manager(s) to align with company priorities; endorse, model and develop the team to deliver Coach’s selling and service expectations; enforce sales strategies and initiatives; flex store business strategies and personal selling techniques to contribute to overall store and financial results; hold the sales team accountable for personal sales; maximize clienteling strategy; build credibility and trust with customers; act as a brand ambassador in the local market; coach, develop and motivate the team; provide constructive feedback to Store Manager(s) and Assistant Store Manager(s).

Operations:

Manage daily operational tasks according to Coach standards; demonstrate strong business acumen; maintain interior and exterior upkeep; use all retail systems and reporting tools; adhere to all applicable Coach retail policies and procedures; leverage Coach’s tools and technology to support clienteling efforts; ensure all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service of Coach standards.

Additional Requirements

Experience: 1‑3 years of retail experience, preferably in luxury retail; knowledge of fashion trends and competition.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills, iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet, walkie-talkie, pricing sheets.

Physical: Ability to execute at a fast pace, communicate effectively, maneuver sales floor and stock rooms, lift up to 25 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs as required.

Schedule: Work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and high retail traffic days.

Compensation & Benefits Hourly: $16.66 – $24.50
