Join CDK Global as a
Manager, HR Business Partner
and lead the people agenda for our dynamic technology organization. This strategic role demands a thoughtful leader with the courage to champion innovative HR solutions and the business acumen to drive meaningful change. You'll partner directly with senior technology leadership to modernize our approach to talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement.
As an influential HR partner and trusted advisor, you'll need to understand what drives our technical teams and translate complex people challenges into actionable strategies. This autonomous role requires someone who thrives on helping organizations modernize and transform. You'll be instrumental in shaping our culture, developing our talent pipeline, and ensuring our HR strategies align seamlessly with aggressive business goals.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Deliver HR support to business units, ensuring alignment with business goals Provide strategic HR advice to senior management, focusing on talent management, succession planning, and employee development Develop and implement HR strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and performance Monitor HR KPIs and provide data-driven insights to business leaders to optimize HR operations Participate in recruitment efforts for critical roles and ensure a diverse and inclusive hiring process Manage complex employee relations issues, escalating when necessary, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal requirements Develop and implement organizational design decisions Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures Complete all mandatory assigned compliance tasks and acknowledgements Meet or exceed all performance expectations Role model company values and leadership expectations
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field 7-10 years of experience in HR, including significant experience in an HRBP or HR management role Strong business acumen and the ability to influence decision-making at senior levels Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
HR experience supporting technology organizations, software development teams, or technical functions Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other relevant HR certifications Proven experience leading organizational transformations, restructuring initiatives, or culture change programs Experience with HR analytics, workforce planning models, and translating data insights into strategic recommendations Previous experience in internal or external consulting roles with demonstrated ability to influence executives Understanding of agile development practices, DevOps culture, and modern technology team structures Track record of developing and implementing leadership development and succession planning programs
Salary Range:
$115,000 - $135,000
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
