Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Onsite | Contract to hire Pay : $28–$36 / hour DOE We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to join our client’s HR team in Central San Diego. This role is ideal for someone passionate about employee wellness and benefits compliance. Key Responsibilities : Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and issues Process new hire enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS / benefits platforms Coordinate and support annual open enrollment, including communication and documentation Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, etc.) Partner with vendors and brokers to resolve claims and coverage issues Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefits records and files Assist with benefits audits and reporting requirements Educate employees on benefit offerings and available resources Qualifications : 2+ years of experience in benefits administration Strong knowledge of federal and state benefit laws Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, UKG, etc.) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, please apply now — we are conducting interviews immediately!
