Base pay range $23.00/hr - $28.00/hr

FTS Inc, the fastest growing staffing firm in the country, is representing a client in hopes to find their next team‑member. We are seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Human Resources Generalist with a strong background in recruitment to join our client's team in Rockville, Maryland. This is a contract to hire opportunity, and is an in‑office role.

Key Responsibilities

Support recruitment efforts by coordinating with department hiring managers and agencies, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with candidate evaluations.

Manage onboarding processes, including new hire orientations and documentation, to ensure a smooth transition.

Maintain accurate personnel records and employee files in compliance with company policies.

Assist with planning and hosting employee engagement activities, including monthly events and annual celebrations.

Oversee offboarding by coordinating exit interviews, processing final pay details, managing termination paperwork, and collecting company property.

Participate in both interview and exit interview processes to support continuous improvement of hiring and retention strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources with internal recruitment experience, or Human Resources internship experience.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with candidates, employees, and management.

Experience supporting onboarding, employee engagement activities, and personnel file management.

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
