About the Role RobotLAB is expanding our nationwide franchise network, and we’re seeking an experienced, results‑driven Franchise Development Manager to lead our franchise growth efforts. This position plays a critical role in identifying, recruiting, and onboarding qualified franchise partners who align with our brand vision and operational standards.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in franchise sales, development strategy, and relationship management. You’ll be responsible for managing the entire franchise recruitment lifecycle — from lead generation and evaluation through signing and onboarding — while partnering with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.

This is an in‑person position based in our Southlake, TX headquarters. Remote or hybrid work is not available. Candidates must currently reside in the DFW area.

Key Responsibilities Lead Franchise Expansion Strategy

Develop and execute a comprehensive, data‑driven franchise growth strategy that aligns with RobotLAB’s national expansion goals.

Lead and develop the Franchise Development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and goal achievement.

Identify target markets and analyze demographics, competitor landscapes, and franchise performance data to prioritize territory development.

Establish annual and quarterly franchise recruitment goals tied to company revenue targets.

Partner with executive leadership to refine growth forecasts, expansion pacing, and franchise model evolution as the network scales.

Recruit and Qualify New Franchisees

Generate and nurture leads through a combination of inbound inquiries, broker relationships, and proactive outreach campaigns.

Evaluate prospective franchisees through interviews, background checks, and financial assessments to ensure cultural and operational alignment with RobotLAB.

Clearly communicate the RobotLAB value proposition — franchise structure, initial investment, operational expectations, and support framework.

Manage prospect engagement with professionalism and integrity, maintaining brand credibility throughout every interaction.

Manage the Full Franchise Sales Cycle

Oversee all stages of the recruitment process, from first inquiry through franchise signing.

Conduct Discovery Calls and Discovery Days, coordinating presentations, site tours, and meetings with leadership to ensure a cohesive candidate experience.

Provide consultative guidance to prospects, helping them understand business models, unit economics, and operational requirements.

Work closely with legal counsel to ensure timely FDD delivery, documentation accuracy, and contract execution compliance.

Coordinate Cross‑Functional Support

Collaborate with legal, operations, and finance teams to streamline the onboarding of new franchise partners.

Ensure all new franchisees receive consistent communication, documentation, and training resources pre‑ and post‑signing.

Act as the liaison between franchisees and internal departments to resolve bottlenecks and maintain positive communication.

Support the smooth transition from “signed” to “open” through coordination with operations and marketing teams.

Build and maintain a transparent and organized pipeline within the CRM system, tracking every prospect touchpoint and deal stage.

Monitor and report on key conversion metrics such as inquiry‑to‑application and application‑to‑signing ratios.

Prioritize follow‑ups and maintain consistent communication with all leads to optimize closing efficiency.

Continuously evaluate the quality of leads and sources to maximize ROI on lead‑generation activities.

Reporting & Analytics

Deliver detailed weekly and monthly performance reports to executive leadership highlighting key trends, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy.

Track and analyze lead generation data, conversion metrics, and revenue potential to identify areas for improvement.

Use performance analytics to refine recruitment strategies, messaging, and territory development.

Present data‑driven insights that influence franchise sales goals, operational readiness, and future resource allocation.

Market Presence

Represent RobotLAB at local and national franchise expos, trade shows, and industry conferences to build visibility and attract qualified leads.

Network proactively with franchise brokers, consultants, and business owners to position RobotLAB as a top‑tier franchising opportunity.

Deliver engaging presentations and follow‑up materials that effectively communicate the brand’s vision, culture, and success stories.

Monitor competitor activity and emerging industry trends to inform RobotLAB’s competitive positioning and messaging.

Relationship Cultivation

Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with franchise brokers, consultants, and franchisee candidates.

Collaborate with existing franchisees to encourage organic network growth through referrals and positive testimonials.

Foster trust and credibility by providing timely updates, transparent communication, and thoughtful follow‑through.

Serve as a point of contact for strategic relationship management, representing the professionalism and reliability of RobotLAB’s brand.

Brand Advocacy

Ensure every touchpoint — from marketing materials to Discovery Day presentations — reflects RobotLAB’s professionalism, innovation, and brand identity.

Uphold consistent messaging and adherence to corporate brand standards across all recruitment channels and communications.

Champion RobotLAB’s values of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in every franchise engagement.

Work closely with the marketing team to continually enhance franchise development collateral, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in franchise sales and franchise development.

Proven record of meeting or exceeding franchise recruitment goals.

Strong understanding of FDD (Franchise Disclosure Documents) and the end‑to‑end franchise process.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Highly organized, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented with a data‑driven approach.

Skilled in using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage pipelines and report progress.

Ability to travel domestically for meetings, franchise expos, and training events.
